Topic: Summary of Insights about challenges and good practice that exist in the four UK nations and common themes
In our Spring/ Summer Hub sessions, we took a virtual tour of the UK, inviting participants of each of our UK National Hubs (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) to share with us the specific challenges and good practice experienced by consumers, citizens and micro-businesses in their Nation. We also looked at any shared priorities across the UK for the Panel to champion in the year ahead.
Priorities for the Communication Consumer Panel
- Champion digital inclusion across all demographics and geographies.
- Promote awareness of social tariffs and of digital transitions (such as migration to VoIP).
- Advocate for Online Safety reforms, understanding where gaps lie, from a consumer view.
- Support community-led solutions and fair access to postal and telecom services, especially in rural, remote and Island communities.

Topic: All UK National Stakeholder Hub
The Panel's National Stakeholder Hub in February took the form of an All-UK Hub and participants joined from all four nations of the UK- England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The Hub concentrated on listening to our stakeholders plans for the coming year and provided the opportunity for stakeholders to listen to a brief summary of some of the Panel's areas of interest and plans for the year ahead.
