Our key areas of focus and why we chose them

The Panel's remit is wide-ranging and ever-expanding. We listen closely to the views, needs, concerns and harms of consumers, citizens and micro-businesses across the communications sectors' sub-sectors of telecoms, spectrum, broadcasting (regarding the accessibility of these services and the portrayal of older and disabled people, as ACOD members), postal services, and online services.

Across these sectors we must focus our resource on topics of interest under the Panel's remit, where we can make the most influence. The topics of key interest to us are ones where we will place strong focus to ensure that we monitor the impacts of policy and industry actions that may affect consumers, citizens and consumers in the UK., but we are not restricted to these.
