We have published our strategic plan 2021/22

06 May 2021

We have published our strategic plan for the forthcoming year, having recently consulted on the plan in March 2021.

Our strategic plan 2021/22 is focused on connecting with those who are less likely to be heard in communications sector policy-making - this has become ever more important since the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic took hold and brought to the fore the importance of communications services for all consumers, citizens and micro-businesses.

Our strategic plan 2021-22 - What do we plan to focus on?

  • Equality of access and usability of communications services that are resilient, reliable, secure and affordable;
  • Excellent standards of service and of customer service; and
  • Prevention of consumer harms.

We continue to build on our current work and will work towards achieving our strategic aims through our research and insights programme (click here to view recent research publications); our programme of work to help strengthen the consumer voice in communications (click here to find out more); and engaging with and providing advice to the regulator, communications providers, UK governments and industry.
