The Government's Digital Britain project prompted widespread debate about the future of communications policy in the UK. Believing that the views of citizens and consumers should be central to the debate, the Communications Consumer Panel commissioned research to find out about consumers' needs, the role of communications services and devices in meeting them, and how this picture is likely to change over time.
