Ofcom's strenghtened rules to protect consumers

The Panel advised Ofcom to make caller line identification (caller display) free of charge, so that they could see who was calling them. We consider it unfair that consumers were being charged for this service by some communications providers.

We are pleased to see Ofcom's new strengthened rules which apply to all communications providers came into force this month.
