Consumer Interest Toolkit

Publications

The toolkit was published in February 2006 and can be found here.

On 28 February 2007 Ofcom published a twelve month progress and evaluation report on how it had used the toolkit to embed the consumer interest within the organisation. The report can be found here.

On 7 March 2008 a Panel report was published which used the toolkit to assess three Ofcom projects: the removal of BT's retail price controls, broadband migrations and licence exemption framework reviews. The report can be found here.

 

Events

In May 2007 the Panel delivered a presentation on the Toolkit in Brussels to DG SANCO, at the invitation of Meglena Kuneva, European Commissioner for Consumer Protection. A note of the meeting can be found here.
