Annual Reports

The Communications Consumer Panel has worked hard over the last year to achieve positive results for consumers in the communications sector. Our annual report describes the impact of the Panel's work. I hope you will agree that we have had a productive year.

The report also sets out what we will be focusing on during the year ahead. You might wish to look out for:

  • The launch of our research into digital participation at the end of this month, exploring what more needs to be done to help people get online and experience the benefits of the internet;
  • The publication this month of the consumer protection principles which we have developed, with other consumer bodies, to guide Ofcom and industry on the implementation of the legislation to tackle Illegal file sharing;
  • Further work on mobile coverage, including consumers' ability to cancel their contracts if coverage is inadequate; and
  • The publication of research on the usability of mobile phones in July.

The annual report, alonside a separate report detailing budget and spend for the financial year 2009/10, can be accessed using the links below. You can also read annual reports from previous years.
